How much does Bookpin cost?
One flat £29/month per location. No commission on bookings, no per-booking fees, and no cut of new clients — unlike marketplaces that charge a percentage.
Do my clients need an app or account?
No. Clients book straight from your page in seconds — just their name, phone and email. No app to download, no account to create.
Can I move my existing bookings over?
Yes — you can keep taking new bookings on Bookpin straight away, and import your existing ones when you're ready to fully switch.
Does it handle colour services with processing time?
Yes. Set a service's apply / processing / finish times and the diary frees the stylist during processing so they can start another client — no wasted chair time.
Can I take deposits?
Optionally. Deposits run through your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard rates — Bookpin never touches your money and takes no cut.
What if a client doesn't show up?
Mark them as a no-show in the diary. Automatic reminders cut no-shows, and you can require a deposit for higher-value services.
Is my clients' data safe?
Yes. Passwords are hashed, logins are protected, and you can sign out every device at once if a phone is lost. Data is stored securely in the EU.
